Any tried and true ways to get rid of moles...?

I use the Tomcat mole worms. You need to push all the tunnels down and then check the next day which ones are pushed back up. Those are active, put your finger in to create a hole, put a worm in and put a bit of dirt back on top - don't push down the tunnel. I used these last year in the spring and have not had another mole tunnel since. Your yard could have quite a few active tunnels so more worms may need to be used, but believe me these things work.
