Why do atheists say the bible allows , when there's not a single verse allowing any form of it?

They love to just say it without a single reference or reason. Are these the same people who parrot that 4 million were killed in Auschwitz, when even the holocaust proponents admitted 20 years ago that this was a lie and reduced their figure to a maximum of 1.5 million?
