Similar to jury service, couldn't we have a yearly MP review service from his or her own constituents?

A panel of the voters could then review the individual MP's salary based on his annual performance, where the salary could go up or down. The panel could also scrutinise the MP's expenses. If this worked out, could we then expand it to include Members of the House of Lords and Local Councillors?
